About Nourish Nymph

 Maria Belen Luzuriaga Abad was Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She moved to the United States at 12 years of age. Inspired by the artists and curanderos in her family, she decided to explore her mystical roots. Her spiritual curiosity drove her to travel worldwide, searching for philosophies, massage techniques, and healing practices. She has studied body healing and massage all over South East Asia (Thailand, Burma), Hawaii, and South America. She studied Ayurveda at Southern California University of Health Sciences (AHC - Ayurvedic Holistic Counselor), nutrition and psychology at SMC (Santa Monica College), massage therapy at California Holistic Institute (LMT - Licensed Massage Therapist), and more. She includes sound healing in her practice as she has found the sacred vibrations of the strings and percussion instruments conducive to healing.  Belen says, "Touch is the intersection between the rhythms of my ancestral tree and the rumbling healer in my soul." She claims that every note and every touch unleashes the unreleased pain
from each of our ancestors so they can all be restored, thereby healing our ancestral tree.
